This place is small and tight. They're only open for breakfast and lunch. It is located next to the michaels plaza. The food is pretty cheap and fast. And the staff are great!! Love me some sunny side up eggs ;))))

I gave this place an honest try several times. I WANTED to like it. I feel that the lack of service is taking away form the actual food. I don't know if the older lady who works there is just getting too old or she is just always in a bad mood. She never smiles at the customer and both times we felt like she was doing us a HUGE favor for taking our order. Slammed the bill on the table really hard and walked away both times too. No 'thank you', no acknowledgement. The food is average and prices are higher compared to most breakfast places like this. You can get exactly the same breakfast across the street for much less. The only thing I enjoyed was the coffee the gentleman prepared for me however the servers attitude spoiled the whole experience for us. Also, both times I observed customers walk in to get bagels or order something to go. They stand around waiting for someone to help them and eventfully leave ( both times the older waitress was standing right there ignoring them and just continued talking to some acquaintances of hers). I really don't understand the logic behind treating your customers poorly. At least learn how to smile if you work in customer service. My family will not be going back. Hope this review helps to improve this place.

This little place is conveniently located right behind my house. Good breakfast, probably one of the only places in Pines you can get an Eggs Benedict. Little hole in the wall, located in a shopping center but still good food.

Pretty decent bagel place. Very friendly staff and yummy bagels. A bit pricey but it's nearby. I've tried one of their omelette and it was lacking enough meat, but it tasted good. I will return.

Had lunch there yesterday for the first time. Had an egg salad wrap with home fries. The egg salad was really well made and very tasty. Not overly done with the mayo and lots of egg. I would get it with bread next time instead of the wrap which was a bit dry. The bagels in the case looked really good as well. Might have to buy a few on the next visit.

If there was way to give zero stars I would for this visit I would. I took pictures of the so called freshly cut lox and the app crashed. So I will post some close ups to show my fellow yelpers to steer clear of this place! I have been coming there over the years - with my wife always complaining and I don't know why on my birthday - I wanted a good breakfast - so $50 dollars later, with semi hard and gummy bagels - which I realized that they don't make there - they buy them and display them in plastic bags. They messed up my bagel count as I ordered 4 plain for the wife 4 poppy & 4 sesame for the kids and while ordering the owner says - "you get 4 more" thinking he was giving customer that he recognized buys a lot when he comes in - a deal... Yeah right! So I get 4 other obscure ones - 2 pumpernickel and 2 everything... So after I get the drinks, pound of cream cheese and the hand cut lox - which was cut like thick and uneven slabs and had leather hard pieces and veins and dark spots everywhere. Packed in Saran Wrap with paper-thin semi used tinfoil. Net result - crappy birthday - had to buy 4 sesame as they forgot to add those - so the thought I was getting a deal was out the window! So again the some of the bagels were a little cold and hard and the lox would get the "snub" from an alley cat if left outside - where it belongs! Poor salmon died for nothing! Drive far away from this place! PS - the bagels were served in publix bags and not brown paper - but they had holes in them to boot - so Wifey is also pissed about poppy seeds everywhere... The soda cans we brought home were sticky and so filthy we had to wash them off to drink out of them. I will never go back - unless i have a picket sign with me to boycott this place! "UPDATE" - I went to return the fish and the manager takes a $20 bill and said here and waved me off! Spend $50 with no receipt and he is upset with me - last time I go here and you all should read the reviews - this place is a rat hole - run by one as well!

You know your grandma's kitchen, right? Lots of kitsch from the old country, food that's not necessarily fancy or organic but always served with a smile, right? Well, Bagel Place comes pretty close to that! After running errands up in Pembroke Pines on a Saturday morning, I was hungry and used my Yelp Mobile app to find some eggs benny and Bagel Palace came up. It's a snug space, with a lot of celebrity photos and decorations from Greece and eastern Europe (lots of Cyrillic). The wait staff was actually very pleasant, even on a packed Saturday morning. I ordered the eggs benedict, french toast and took advantage of their coffee refills. It may not be organic or locally grown, but coffee is always good when unlimited refills are served on time and with a smile. My eggs benny was nicely sauced, poached soft (as requested) and with a generous helping of home fries. The Canadian bacon was a little thick to cut but nonetheless hit the spot. French Toast was fluffy, with a generous helping of sugar, and they even gave me more syrup in a to go box when I couldn't finish my order. At least this last Saturday, the great service I got pushes it to four stars. I'm glad I found another spot next time I'm up in Pembroke Pines for brunch.

Never had a bad meal here. Originally started coming here for the loxs and bagel, but have tried several items on the menu. They have freshly squeezed OJ, and corky random designed coffee mugs. I love their Rachel sandwich, the breakfast 222, and the biscuits & gravy to name a few. Great local bagel shop.

$7.99 for a plain bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese no coffee no sides is a bit on the pricey side if you ask me. Especially because its located in an old plaza in pembroke pines. The restaurant itself and verything in it is old. It has no character or anything interesting about it. It just has this runnned down feel. The cooks apparently are very set in their ways and don't really care what you want even though its your food and you're paying for it. I wanted my eggs over medium and they made this big stink about not wanting to make them that way, and how messy that is, and if I new I could get it all over myself etc... This was not done in a joking manner they were very rude about it and I felt very uncomfortable after. The breakfast sandwich itself was actually good and tasty. I just don't think I'll be going back not only are they overpriced but a bit rude.

The food is good but the price is absolutely ridiculous. Being from New York, $10 for a bacon egg and cheese with OJ is a bit much, especially when they don't bother to listen to you when you want your eggs a certain way. for that price I can get a full breakfast meal at Denny's. I would come here 2-3 times a week if the price changed. I hope they care enough to listen to these reviews.

I had their french toast, sausage and bacon meal and it was delicious. You can't beat the price and great service too.

Not happy with the food or drinks. Please don't lie on the menu, don't call pasteurized OJ fresh squeezed. This is the first time the other reviews on yelp have let me down. I really don't recommend this place if your taste buds work.

The service was friendly and quick. I waited maybe less than 10 minutes for my take out order. The food was really good and filling but I felt it was a bit over priced. It's a small and quaint little place. Had a very ma and pop feel to it.

I can't stand when restaurants nickel and dime their customers. Don't make any substitutions or your bill will be hiked up big time. My eggs and bacon went from $7.50 to over $11.00 when I added a plain bagel. Two breakfast entrees, one coffee and one juice was about $40.00. Way too much for this place in my not so humble opinion.

Small but popular. This Bagel Palace is King. The food is excellent and the staff knows customer service. For the price and great food, can't beat it in this area. It is small and many people come here it appears. Go with time on your hands, the food is worth the wait, but the staff does a good shop of getting patrons through their meal and the seat available for another.

Decent breakfast restaurant. I probably should have ordered bagels instead of french toast, but the french toast was yummy. Grits was pretty tasty, too...and service was great.

I was excited before arriving to this place because of the name. However, nothing I ate screamed, "this taste so good." The price was reasonable, considering what I had which was a normal breakfast with eggs and French toast.

It's always a huge plus when Betty White is your server. Ok, Betty White wasn't really my server but the woman who did serve me reminded me of the gal from St. Olaf. I decided to take a break from patio furniture shopping and have some lunch. The place was packed which was a good sign although the restaurant isn't that big so being packed could have been a little deceiving. I waited approx, ten minutes for a table and once I was sat, the waitress immediately brought me a glass of water. I decided on the deluxe chicken sandwich with home fries. I still can't believe that they don't serve french fries esp. when they have sandwiches, burgers and wraps. The sandwich was pretty good and it definitely filled me up along with the home fries. As far as bagel places go, this one was definitely in the upper echelon. They do have some slightly odd pictures and memorabilia on the walls but if you can get past looking at ancient artifacts and fandom pictures, the food is worth a try.

Small and sorta cozy place. Portions were alittle small for my hubby but I thought it was decent. I would go there again. The bagels were yummy.

This place is a small hidden gem for Sunday Morning Breakfast. Originally started out trying to get breakfast at Cracker Barrel but the wait time was ridiculous. Then drove over to the Waffle House where the wait time was even longer ( an hour and a half) was just about to give up on having breakfast when I found this place in the Michaels shopping Center. The place is small with a few tables. Waited about two minutes to be seated. There were other families there having breakfast. Ordered eggs, bacon and pancakes. Coffee and toast too. The breakfast was great. Service was good and staff friendly .. Would have given it another star if the ventilation was a little better..will definitely come back

I am normally not one to give my opinion or feel strongly enough to care to write a review about a restaurant but today I had to make the exception. Recently moved to the area and went to check out The Bagel Palace for breakfast and was extremely disappointed. How can you mess up breakfast right...well they did. Ordered an omelet..came out almost raw...super runny... and the bottom side was burned...home fries were cooked earlier and reheated with ZERO seasoning. Bacon and egg sandwich had no flavor. Salt and pepper is your friend..try using it every once in a while. Who ever you have as your cook should be re-assigned to dish washer...they have no PASSION for food!! As a New Yorker you might want to take down any decor that insinuates you make New York quality food. YOU ARE NOT THAT!! You have officially lost 2 customer. Looks like I'll be taking the half hour ride to Hollywood's Jack's Dinner to get some quality breakfast. Thanks for wasting my time and money.

I love this place! I almost don't want to give a review so the place stays the same. all the breakfast options are delicious and the service is fast and courteous. It's been my favorite spot for breakfast since we moved close by two years ago. Nice family owned establishment!
